A new year needs a more effective way of hiring, but how does hiring without using a resume as the single source of truth work IRL?

This still floors me. If you’ve ever hired (or been hired), you’ve seen it: 5+ years required. 10+ years preferred. It’s written like a proxy for certainty - like time served automatically equals capability.

I believe we're coming into one of the most interesting times within the last few decades in how people and businesses come together in the employment model.
